A leak of documents from Renault reveals the prices of the new plug-in hybrid version of the Mégane Estate station wagon, available in four finishes at its launch.
In February 2020, Renault had done well to present its new electrified products before the Geneva Motor Show. The brand allowed us to discover, among other things, the new Mégane plug-in hybrid, before the Swiss event was canceled. So we learned that the block accumulating 160 hp was that of the Captur, with the same battery allowing some 50 km of autonomy.
A rather high-end hybrid
Now we know the prices for the compact diamond. Finally, unofficially, because the information comes from the Worldscoop forum, via documents that appear authentic. On these, we discover that this E-Tech Plug-in version, which accompanies the restyling, is available in two finishes.
The most accessible Intens is € 38,500. It includes LED headlights as standard, dual-zone car air conditioning, a 9.3-inch screen with GPS, digital instrumentation, or the reversing camera. More sporty, the R.S Line finish peaks at € 40,500. It includes for additional equipment the 17 inch rims, the heated sport front seats and the Alcantara upholstery. Dedicated to professionals, two other variants are available: the Business at € 36,700 and the Business Intens at € 39,100.

The Renault Megane Estate Plug-in will be launched in June 2020 with deliveries planned in the process. The sedan, which will be slightly cheaper, will have to wait at least the fall. This should start at € 37,000 in Intensity finish.
