The Dacia Spring has promised to be one of the cheapest electrics. Promise kept with its price list which is revealed in advance.
The Dacia Spring is one of the first achievements of the Renault group’s strategy, which aims to offer eco-mobility to as many people as possible. Derived from the Renault City K-ZE, the city car goes to the essentials to keep its price list as low as possible.
The latter surfaced on the web in advance via the Worldscoop forum. Two prices will be available for the small electric, with an entry ticket set at € 16,990, or € 12,400 with the ecological bonus deducted (limited to 27% of the sale price). The Comfort Plus version climbs to € 18,490, or € 13,500 in cost price.
Up to 295 km of autonomy in the city
The Dacia Spring will open the catalog with the Comfort version. A Comfort Plus version will complete the catalog. This will be equipped with a 3.5-inch digital display, a 7-inch central screen, a reversing camera and manual air conditioning.
Citroën Ami and Renault Twizy aside because of their quadricycle homologation, the Dacia Spring is the cheapest electric car on the market, while offering a WLTP range of 225 km greater than the Renault Twingo ZE. In town, the manufacturer even advances a range of 295 km thanks to the 27.4 kWh battery. Also remember that a rental service at € 5 per day will be offered by Leclerc.
