With the hope of achieving 2.3 million contracts with SMEs and individuals, the Société Générale subsidiary unveiled these environmental objectives for 2025.
The company’s objective is to reach a quota of 30% of electrified vehicles by 2025 in order to reduce the emissions caused by its fleets by 40% between 2020 and 2025. The second declared objective is to increase this share to 50% in ten years. On the infrastructure side, the Société Générale subsidiary will offer ALD Electric, an offer that includes the installation of charging stations accompanied by a fixed price.
Other investments will be made until 2025 by ALD, which places its mobility assistant ALD Move at the heart of its strategy. Intended for employees of partner companies, this application makes it possible to group together sustainable mobility solutions and offer them to people who have installed it. Train, bike, taxis, car sharing: ALD Move offers a range of options for getting around quickly and more cleanly. For a year now, it has had some success in the Netherlands.
Finally, ALD promises to develop its connected insurance offerings for fleets. Recently, the lessor had set up its first insurance for fleets, and now wants to develop it along two lines. The first, “Pay as you drive”, would allow companies to have rates and packages tailored to their use of the vehicle. The second, on the other hand, would focus on the recognition of good driving behavior (Pay how you drive).
