Aldi sells 3D printers with WiFi for 349 euros

From March 24, Aldi will be offering a compact 3D printer from the manufacturer Bresser. Here’s what you need to know about it.

From March 24th, the discounter Aldi will be offering the “Rex” 3D printer with WLAN function from the German manufacturer Bresser. Instead of 489 euros (RRP), the discounter sells the 3D printer for 349 euros and thus with a discount of 28 percent compared to the recommended retail price. The device is exclusive

Amazon countered Aldi with a lower price
349 euros is a good price, as a look at the PC-WELT price comparison proves, because the currently cheapest retailer there, Otto.de, is charging 379 euros. But there is a better offer: On Monday, Amazon lowered the price of the device to just 339 euros, undercutting Aldi by 10 euros. The 3D printer is available immediately from Amazon.

which the manufacturer offers here on its website for 489 euros. According to the manufacturer, the 3D printer is also suitable for beginners. This allows objects up to 150 x 150 x 150 millimeters to be printed. The device, which measures 400 x 380 x 405 millimeters and weighs around 9 kilograms, supports the fused filament fabrication process. The nozzle diameter is 0.4 millimeters
The model files can be transferred via WLAN or USB. As a further special feature, the 3D printer also has a large touch control panel and a closed print housing. The printing process can be followed via a large viewing window and a 2-megapixel webcam integrated inside. A HEPA air purification filter ensures that no harmful particles can escape.
