Amazon is giving away 10 ebooks for World Book Day 2022
April 23, 2022 is World Book Day. The online retailer Amazon is taking World Book Day as an opportunity to launch a campaign on this Amazon page: from now until April 28, 2022, at 9 a.m

However, all books are only available in English. It’s actually a pity that Amazon doesn’t also support the campaign with German-language books. Especially since a work by the German author Werner Sonne, who worked as a radio and television correspondent for ARD for over 40 years, is also available as part of the campaign. On the other hand, we like the selection of books, because they are works by authors from all over the world and the free e-books are perhaps a welcome opportunity for many book lovers to brush up on their English skills.
The following Kindle e-books are available free of charge from Amazon:
Each Amazon customer from Germany, Austria or Switzerland may only “order” each e-book once for EUR 0.00 each. It is then added to your Kindle library and is available from there on all Kindle products, devices with the Kindle app installed, or via the Kindle Cloud Reader web app.
What is World Book Day?
Books and their authors have been celebrated worldwide on this UNESCO World Day since 1995. Also in Germany since 1996, with the campaign being supported by the German Book Trade Association on this site. Many bookshops, libraries, publishers and schools are involved in this country.
