Amazon: Second Prime Day in autumn?

Prime Day will take place on July 12th and 13th, 2022. As always, we will introduce you to the best bargains, we have already put together the first tips for the big bargain hunt here for you: Amazon Prime Day in July – the date has been set. But now there are indications that Amazon will hold another major Prime event in 2022. This is reported by the US IT news site The Verge.
No concrete date yet
Amazon has therefore sent information to third-party sellers in which there is talk of a “Prime Fall Deal Event”, i.e. a Prime Fall Deal Event. However, Amazon does not give the exact date. US media speculation ranges from October to the fourth quarter of 2022.
There was already a kind of forerunner in 2021
In the fall of 2021, Amazon had at least held a sales event for beauty products. But not a full Prime tag. But that’s what the phrase “Prime Fall Deal Event” sounds like; so there could actually be two Prime Day events in 2022. This would be the first time Amazon has held two Prime events in one year.
Amazon could try a second Prime Day to compensate for its recently slowed growth. On the other hand, Black Friday takes place in autumn anyway.
