André van Duin receives heart-warming responses to the message that he has had to undergo surgery for colon cancer.
The comedian (73) was operated successfully a few months ago in the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek hospital in his hometown of Amsterdam. Van Duin is on the mend, he said this morning The Telegraph. The co-presenter of All of Holland Bakt kept his illness at bay for five months, but now thought it was time to come out.
A lot of support for André van Duin
Although it has been a while and he has survived the operation well (“he passed through wonderfully,” he calls it), such a report about a beloved man is still a shock. On Instagram, Twitter and also on Metro’s Facebook it is raining sweet, uplifting and warm reactions for André van Duin. From ‘Big hug’ to ‘Get well soon, friend’.

Good luck, friend!
Rob Achterbergh, for example, responds on Instagram. He read that ‘unfortunately this wonderful guy had to be operated on for colon cancer’ and writes: “Let’s hope he gets over it soon! Much improvement, friend. ”
“André van Duin has become a bit of my role example of how he stands in life”, reports ‘En Wel Hierom’ on Twitter. “Keep your fate in the lee and give your smile in the light. How the other way round is it often for many. ” “We wish André van Duin a speedy recovery!” Luc Colemont. “Hey, dear #andrevanduin, you are not going to leave us, hey, the whole of the Netherlands needs you. Right now. We wish you a lot of improvement, take care! ”, Says Wybren. ‘Fruckelicious’ comes with the big hug.

Love from Facebook for André van Duin
Although there is someone on a social platform who thinks ‘that André van Duin has been given priority over his surgery in corona time because he is known’, there is a lot of love. On Metro’s Facebook page you can only find lots of love towards the actor and television maker (that is sometimes different). “That man also has a lot to do,” Bianca Velthuis mourns. But: “Glad everything is fine, still love it.” ‘Do it quickly André, we can’t miss you. It’s always a pleasure to see you on TV ”, Ger Voenen reports. And Nanni Kasanpawiro: “Oh man. Quick recovery and wish you a lot of strength. ” And to conclude with Sjaan van der Kaaij: “Good to hear André, lots of strength with the people around you who are dear to you !!!”
