This is new – just a few examples

Android 13 brings more ways to customize the Material You interface and especially the look of non-Google apps, so the home screen should offer a more consistent look. You can also assign individual language settings to apps, so not all apps have to be in are displayed in the same language. Google has also revised Android’s media player. To make it easier to fall asleep, Android 13 also has an improved sleep mode on board.

For images and videos, you can now specify exactly which apps are allowed to access which media files. Android 13 also automatically deletes sensitive data such as email addresses, phone numbers and login data from the clipboard after a certain period of time. Android 13 also brings Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) audio support, improved multitasking, and HDR video support for third-party camera apps.

These devices get Android 13

Google is now starting to ship Android 13 to its Pixel devices from the Pixel 4 generation. Later in 2022, Samsung Galaxy devices, but also certain devices from Asus, HMD (Nokia), Sony, Xiaomi, Motorola, Oneplus and other manufacturers get the new Android version.
