Animal Crossing: New Horizons Update: Now comes Super Mario

In “Animal Crossing: New Horizons” you could already experience Easter, Halloween, New Year’s Eve and, most recently, Valentine’s Day on your island. From February 25, 2021 you will also be celebrating the 35th birthday of Super Mario on your island.

The previous events were celebrated in the game with special events, competitions, items of clothing and objects. So now the 35th anniversary of the “Super Mario” games, which took place at the end of 2020. You can now equip your island almost completely in the style of the cult plumber. For this, numerous typical “Super Mario” items will be available in the game.

Look and hop around like Super Mario for once

With numerous pieces of clothing you can make your character look like Mario, Luigi, Peach or Wario, even the corresponding beards have been thought of. You can also place all kinds of objects in your house as well as on the whole island, including well-known items such as the super mushroom, the fire flower, the question mark block or the checkered flag. If you want, you can turn your island into a complete “Super Mario” level. The well-known tubes also have a practical use: You can place one tube in front of a house and another at the other end of the island so that you can take a shortcut to get there.

Of course, events don’t end after Super Mario’s birthday. Especially in the next few weeks you will be able to experience some real holidays in the game. You can equip yourself with items for St. Patrick’s Day, Girl’s Day and Pi Day, also from February 25, 2021.

Girl’s Day is a Japanese holiday that takes place on March 3, 2021. You can get special outfits and items available from February 25th to March 3rd.

From March 1 to March 14, Pi Day is celebrated, which takes place on March 14, 2021. Then the date will coincide with the mathematical value of pi, 3.14. During this period there will be a special Pi cake available for purchase in the game.

St. Patrick’s Day, on the other hand, is celebrated from March 10th to 17th, 2021 and you can throw yourself stylishly into themed clothing and equip your island with typical items.
