That doesn’t have to be the case, however, as HR expert Liz Ryan explains in an article in the business magazine “Forbes”. If you are asked during an interview why you would be a good employee, then this question should not make you sweat, but you should use it as an opportunity when applying.
As Ryan recommends, you shouldn’t start by listing your positive traits and possibly showing yourself arrogant. Justifications that make you feel small are also not the best choice for applications. Instead, you should first explain what makes a good employee for you and then explain a situation in which you are a good employee felt have.
When you apply, tell us how passionate you have been for your job
You should be careful not to say that you are a good co-worker. Instead, tell them that passion at work makes a good employee for you and report on a situation in which you have shown so much passion for your job that you were not only able to convince your previous boss of you, but a change for them entire company.
