With 598 hp and 830 Nm torque (in the Overboost mode are 646 hp inside) dynamics is not an issue. With Launch Control accelerates, the Audi RS e-tron GT shoots after about 400 meters with approx 230 km / h over the asphalt – respect. On the Country road is the Electric Audi then much more cautious. The Tuning the chassis differs from that of the Zuffenhausen technology dispenser. As the two letters GT (standing for Gran Turismo) indicate, the Audi is one for long distances. Not a sedan chair, but the Audi doesn’t puncture the occupants’ discs either. This fine tuning is made possible by the interaction of the Three-chamber air spring (for the first time in an Audi) with the adaptive dampers possible.

in the Dynamic driving program The Ingolstadt-born bares his teeth and crouches ten millimeters lower Above the surface, but even then does not tend to be too hard, quite GT. Depending on the driving program the Audi is understeering more or less clearly. “We deliberately coordinate that so that the car can always be controlled,” explains Dennis Schmitz. Indeed: if you lift the gas pedal, it follows around 2.3 ton RS e-tron GT again obedient to the steering angle. However, the best can be all wheel drive not completely undermining the laws of physics. Thrown around the curve with good taste, the driver feels the weight clear – and the load pushes outwards. However, the Ingolstadt man politely announces the limit area and does not pose unsolvable tasks for the driver. You guessed it, just as it should be for a GT.

The balancing act between Comfort and sport Incidentally, they also dominate the seats, extremely comfortable. It’s unbelievable how relaxed you can drive fast in this car. As the letters “RS” suggest, this 646 hp version is the sharpest variant of the e-tron GTmore will follow. We know from the Taycan, which is available as 4S, Turbo and Turbo S. Sometimes the same thing comes out when two people do the same …

The bottom line: Anyone who thought the RS e-tron GT would drive like a Porsche Taycan with a new body will be surprised. The Ingolstadt-based company set their own scent brands and focus on more comfort. AUTO BILD test result: 2+
