AUTO BILD becomes climate-neutral and launches a sustainability website

AUTO BILD, Germany’s largest car media brand, is consistently and transparently continuing its sustainability strategy. As an independent body, TÜV NORD has now officially certified the weekly print magazine as a “climate-neutral product”. From 2023, all other AUTO BILD group titles such as AUTO BILD REISEMOBIL or AUTO BILD KLASSIK will also be climate-neutral, followed by AUTO BILD DIGITAL in 2024.
Emissions resulting from AUTO BILD’s activities are offset by high-quality projects, for example by supporting the production of clean drinking water in Sierra Leone, reforestation in Costa Rica or the production of solar energy in India.

Own website for transparent sustainability

AUTO BILD is now also presenting the path to climate neutrality on its own sustainability website in a transparent and informative manner for everyone, including the emission data and details on the offsetting projects.

Environmentally friendly mobility very popular with readers

A survey shows that environmentally friendly mobility is also an important topic for AUTO BILD readers: 79 percent state that avoiding water consumption and air pollution is “very important” or “important”. 76 percent are of the opinion that AUTO BILD should support sustainable mobility and promote change. And 68 percent see companies as responsible for finding solutions to global ecological problems.
