Idea Factory International brings the Nintendo Switch port of Azur Lane: Crosswave in February 2021 also in the west. This publication is to be made physically and digitally. Azur Lane is originally a side-scrolling shooter by Shanhai Manjuu and Xiamen Yongshi that was released for iOS and Android devices in 2017.
The offshoot Azur Lane: Crosswave, which has already been published in the West for PS4 and PCs, uses the Unreal Engine 4 to make the characters of the mobile game, originally animated in 2D, shine in a new splendor in 3D cel-shaded optics. You can find our test of the PS4 version here. The Switch implementation appeared in Japan on September 17, 2020.

There are also new features, including an improved photo mode. Where previously you could only photograph three 3D character models, up to six characters are now possible and more camera angles are also available. The previous DLC characters Taihou and Formidable are also already included in the new release. In addition, there are now three support units and more story content for all characters.
