Basketball player Westbrook equals record triple-double

Basketball player Russell Westbrook has made his 181st career triple-double in the game between Washington Wizards and Indiana Pacers in the American league NBA. He equaled the NBA record of Oscar Robertson, who was successful with triple-doubles in the 60s and 70s.

Westbrook came into the game with 33 points, 19 rebounds and 15 assists. With the Wizards, he won the game against the Pacers after extra time with 133-132. Bradley Beal was the top scorer with the Wizards with fifty points.

Robertson made his triple-doubles between 1960 and 1974. Westbrook was happy to tie the record. “This is incredible. I am extremely grateful and would like to thank everyone who helped me on this journey.”

Stephen Curry was on fire at Golden State Warriors with 49 points. He led his team to victory against Oklahoma City Thunder. The Warriors remain in the race for eighth place in the Western Conference, which entitles them to participate in the play-in. Clubs can still qualify for the play-offs via the play-in.
