Breakfasts that you can make this weekend

Tired of that cheese sandwich? Do you miss your croissant at the station, the delicious sandwiches from the office canteen? Treat yourself to a nice breakfast. That will help you through this depressed month.

1. Chia pudding

A healthy breakfast that tastes like dessert? Chia pudding is your answer. All you need is some chia seeds and a milk of your choice. You can choose almond milk, soy milk, oat milk or regular milk.

You put two scoops of chia seeds in a large glass and then add 125ml of milk. Stir well and you can leave it overnight.

Tip: put this in a number of weck jars and you have breakfast all week. You just need to add your topping in the morning.

In the morning you take the pudding out of the fridge. You can see that the chia seed has now grown in size and the milk is slimy. Now you only have to add some fruit, choose what you want!

Do you want a little more flavor? Then cinnamon is the ideal seasoning, but here too you can choose what you like best. Of course you can also add sugar, but that does not make breakfast healthy anymore.

2. Banana bread with chocolate and pecans

Then cut the bread into slices and wrap them all separately in cling film. Put them in the freezer and you can take out a piece of bread every morning.

Tip: put it in the sandwich maker for a while. Extra tasty!

Have breakfast with an apple muffin!

A muffin is also ideal for breakfast. You can bake them this weekend and have a treat waiting for you every morning for the rest of the week. There is really no better way to start the day.

There are many recipes for a breakfast muffin, so you can vary a lot, so you don’t have to eat the same thing every week.

4. Peanut butter oatmeal cookies

Everything for breakfast, but summarized in a biscuit. And let’s face it: they are better than a healthy oatmeal or a boring peanut butter sandwich.
