A high seating position, a little more ground clearance and a striking exterior: modern SUVs have inherited all of this from off-road vehicles. But if the ground is really muddy or discarded, you can’t get past an off-roader. A model that has been showing in Germany since 1993 that neither bad roads nor heavy loads are a problem is the Mitsubishi L200. The 5th generation of the Japanese pick-up is currently being offered in this country and is in great demand not only among the fan base, but also among traders thanks to the versatile loading area. This is probably also due to the 2.2-liter diesel, which allows a maximum trailer load of three tons.
Since the last revision in 2019, the L200 has also had a modern body design that is reminiscent of the Japanese manufacturer’s SUV family. Even if the L200 has a really good price-performance ratio compared to other all-terrain flatbed trucks, you have to invest at least 32,190 euros according to the RRP to be able to buy a version with a double cabin. But that can also be done cheaper. At carwow.de you can currently save up to 9724 euros when buying a Mitsubishi L200. (As of November 7, 2021).

And on the other hand, the scope of the standard equipment of the L200 2.2 Diesel TOP is impressive.
The top version comes with all-wheel drive as standard
In the cockpit, the pick-up scores with heated leather seats, a two-zone automatic air conditioning and paddle shifters on the steering wheel, while the exterior features sweet 18-inch light-alloy wheels, LED headlights and running boards. Under the hood is a 150 hp diesel with 2.2 liters and a maximum torque of 400 Newton meters in all versions. The TOP version is also equipped with an automatic system as standard. As a rule, Mitsubishi calls for at least 44,990 euros for the TOP version of the double-cab L200. At carwow.de, the offers for the all-terrain pick-up start at 36,156 euros.
