Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: Trailer & release date revealed

Activision has unveiled the gameplay trailer featuring in-game scenes from the campaign for the upcoming blockbuster title Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. After the Modern Warfare reboot from 2019, there is now the sequel, which once again sends us into battle with the legendary Taskforce 141 and heroes of the series such as Captain Price, Gaz, Ghost, Soap and other familiar faces.
New level of realism
The developers promise a special degree of realism for the new CoD offshoot. Here the developers not only revise the visual representation such as reflections and graphics. Projectiles, for example, should be influenced by the water, which is also calculated on the server side in multiplayer. The water even serves as a stealth mechanic in some missions.
And the AI should also have made a leap forward and contribute to an immersive gaming experience. To do this, Infinity Ward worked with real soldiers and task forces during development.
The release date of the game is also revealed in the trailer – the reboot of CoD: MW2 is scheduled to be released on October 28, 2022. Call of Duty: MW2 can also be pre-ordered for Playstation, Xbox and PC. Those who pre-order will get early access to the game’s upcoming open beta.
