Caravan Salon Düsseldorf: Cool all-wheel drive vehicles at the fair
XBull XB 5
The Sprinter made by the XBull manufactory is the first. The small series includes only 20 pieces per year. The basis is the 7.40 meter long four-wheel drive Mercedes Maxi Sprinter. In cooperation with the company Iglhaut Performance, the solid basic model has become a real off-road expert with a large rear garage. Even a small 125cc Enduro would find space here.
Another gadget is the automatic drawer lock, which kicks in from 7 km/h – practical! The XB 5 also looks good on the outside. At the rear there is a transport system that works similar to the popular airline rails. This means that all possible accessories can be lashed down very flexibly.
You can end the day in nature with a cool beer on the roof terrace, which can be reached via a ladder on the side. Price for the XBull XB 5: from 239,000 euros.
Krug Expedition Rhino Project
The Rhino Project from the company Krug Expedition wants to find ways where others have long since given up. This expedition vehicle focuses on self-sufficiency. Solar modules and a dry separating toilet make the traveler independent of any campsite.
The water tap can be pulled out through the small window behind the sink, giving you the option of an outdoor shower. The survival camper starts at a base price of around 83,000 euros.
