Cash is out. Nowadays you can even pay contactless at the street newspaper seller up to the collection box. And where until before corona we settled about 30% of the payments at the counter with cash, this has now fallen to just 20%. We can therefore say that the sounding euros and creaking banknotes are slowly disappearing from society, but when will we switch permanently? Could we do without it at all? And what alternatives are there?
