Charger and Challenger: the roar turns into a purr

A brutal bubbling or deep rumbling, that’s how you know the Dodge Charger and Challenger. But all fans of the Americans should sit down now, because from 2024 the engines will be silent and replaced by a gentle whirring. Goodbye V6 and V8, hello electric motor. According to Dodge, the muscle cars will only come onto the market electrically in the next generation (2024).

The thick tailpipes will be superfluous in the next generation of the Dodge Charger.
In the eyes of the enthusiast, only sufficient power could excuse the missing Hemi-V8. If any. The current Challenger has 309 hp, the Charger has 304 hp – based on the smallest engine (3.6 V6). The E-Dodge should definitely get there.
