Coronavirus vaccination: Chancellor Helge Braun vaccinates clinic staff

Head of the Chancellery Braun is a trained doctor.

The vaccination campaign in Germany has started – and has prominent helpers. Chancellor Helge Braun (CDU) himself put some syringes in vaccination patients at the Giessen University Hospital. He vaccinated a total of four people himself, he said in an interview with RTL. Braun is a doctor of medicine who completed his training at the Giessen clinic.

Braun posted a photo on Twitter of vaccinating hospital staff. He told RTL: “I came to the clinic because I wanted to show support, not just here at the location, but throughout Germany for everyone who was now very busy in the intensive care units over Christmas.” He also wanted to see how the vaccinations start.
