Courteney Cox (56), who played Monica Geller for years Friends, spoke to Ellen DeGeneres about the one-off reunion of the sitcom that was recently recorded. She called filming very emotional and promised many surprises.
Courteney Cox was a guest on the The Ellen DeGeneres Show and talked about the upcoming reunion of it Friends. The recordings for this were recently completed with colleagues Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer.
Normally, that long-awaited reunion should have been recorded last year, but because of the corona pandemic, that could not take place at the time. After much delay it has finally happened. “It was incredible, so emotional,” said Cox. “It’s a reunion without a script, but we were on Stage 24 for the first time (true Friends has been recorded for years, ed.) in – I forgot how many years – fifteen years? Seventeen years?”
“I have a very bad memory, but everything came up again that I had forgotten. But it was great. It was really fun. We had many special surprises and it was fantastic. Really ”, the actress promises.
Now the recordings of the Friendsreunion, we have to wait for the program to appear on HBO Max. It is not yet known when that will be. It is also not yet known where and when the reunion will be shown in Belgium.
