Cuphead: The last “delicious” DLC course won’t be served until 2021

Developer Studio MDHR has released the DLC “The Delicious Last Course” Cuphead postponed to the coming year. At the very beginning, the expansion was actually planned for 2019. There is still no specific date. The DLC will let fans explore a new island. The recent delay is largely due to the coronavirus pandemic. The studio founders Chad and Jared Moldenhauer also write this in their statement on Twitter.

Cuphead is classic shooter action with a heavy emphasis on boss battles. Inspired by the cartoons from the 1930s, those responsible at Studio MDHR carefully created graphics and sound using techniques from that time. For example with hand-drawn animations, watercolor backgrounds and original jazz recordings.

Cuphead, which was once released exclusively for Xbox and PCs, is now also available for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. Incidentally, Studio MDHR are currently working on a cartoon implementation in cooperation with Netflix. Most recently they even published first insights into The Cuphead Show.
