Cupra shows the first teaser for the successor to the Ateca. The sporty SUV will have a very light coupé roofline and will roll off the assembly line in Győr, Hungary, together with the Audi Q3 Sportback from 2024. The daytime running seems to be newly segmented and the taillights also make an unusual impression for Cupra in the first pictures.
Seat’s sports offshoot remains true to the compact segment with the 4.50 meter long model that has not yet been named. The drives, on the other hand, should be more conservative. The new Cupra is to be powered by mild and plug-in hybrids and does not have a fully electric version. Thanks to new technology, however, ranges of up to 100 km according to WLTP should be possible for the hybrid models. Compared to the brand’s current models, this would be a big step.
