The Mazda CX-60 sets new standards in two categories! On the one hand, the SUV is Mazda’s first plug-in hybrid model, on the other hand it is also the most powerful production model that Mazda has built to date. The large SUV manages the standard sprint in a crisp 5.8 seconds. A 2.5-liter in-line four-cylinder (191 hp, 261 Nm torque) and a 175 hp electric motor work hand in hand here.
With a system output of 241 kW (327 hp), 500 Nm of torque and an electric range of up to 63 kilometers, the premium SUV does not have to hide from competitors such as the Mercedes GLC, Audi Q5 and Volvo XC60. In addition, the Mazda is a few thousand euros cheaper on average (for comparison: the Mercedes GLC PHEV starts at 56,109 euros).
The basic model of the CX-60 Prime-Line starts at 47,390 euros. If you choose one of the higher equipment variants – “Exclusive Line”, “Homura” or “Takumi” – then it will of course be more expensive. The top model costs at least 52,890 euros. But thanks to an attractive leasing offer, private customers can drive the CX-60 much cheaper!
The environmental premium still applies to the CX-60
At sparneuwagen.de (cooperation partner of AUTO BILD), private customers can currently lease the Mazda CX-60 Prime-Line for EUR 338.77 gross per month. As with most hybrid car leasing deals, there is a one-time special payment of 4,500 euros.
The delivery of the electrified SUV is expected to take place in November 2022, so that the full special payment will still flow back. If, contrary to expectations, the delivery time is delayed until 2023, customers will only receive a partial refund – in this case 2250 euros. (maintenance costs to calculate? To the car insurance comparison!)
Two years of Mazda’s PHEV SUV drive for 10,198 euros
With this offer, customers have a wide range of conditions at their disposal. The cheapest rate is available with a contract period of 48 months and an annual free kilometer allowance of 10,000 km (338.77 euros gross).
However, terms of 42 months (EUR 348.35 gross), 36 months (EUR 358.06 gross), 30 months (EUR 369.43 gross) and 24 months (EUR 383.66 gross) are also possible. And the annual amount of free kilometers can also be individually adjusted. Customers can choose between 10,000, 15,000, 20,000, 25,000 and 30,000 kilometers.
In addition to the monthly leasing rate, customers must make a one-time payment of the transfer costs of EUR 990 gross. This results in total leasing costs – excluding environmental premium – of EUR 10,197.84 gross (24 times EUR 383.66 plus EUR 990).
