Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.1 ruins game

The role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 (for the futurezone test), which is plagued by errors and crashes, has received its first major update with patch 1.1. As described by the developers, the stability should be greatly improved and various problems that led to crashes should be eliminated. Various errors in the quests should also be history due to the update.

New serious mistake

But as several gamers have already found out, there is now a new serious bug with Patch 1.1, which simply makes it impossible to progress with the main story. Affected is the quest “Down on the Street”, during which you should get a holo call from the character Takemura at the Street Docks in Japantown.

Indeed, Takemura calls you, but the conversation never starts. Takemura just stares in silence. However, the holocall is essential to be able to continue playing the main thread of Cyberpunk 2077. CD Project Red has announced that they are investigating the problem.

The entry on the support page also gives some tips on how to work around the problem before this error can also be corrected with a subsequent update.
