Good dashcam for 32 euros!
The Aukey DRA 1 costs only 32 euros in the Black Friday week and achieved the grade “good” in our test. Despite the low price, buyers only have to accept a few compromises. The test!
Test result Aukey DRA 1
Service: As with other Aukey dash cams, there is a problem with the correct translation into German both in the menu navigation and in the operating instructions. Nevertheless, you can find your way around and manage to use the dashcam without any help from the instructions. Great: The camera has a very large (2.7 inch) and clear display. Furthermore, there are only positive things to report: There are two different brackets (suction cup and adhesive pad) included in the scope of delivery, and clips for cable routing are on board – not a matter of course. Rating “Operation”: 11/20 points
Particularities: Like other candidates in the low-priced segment, the DRA 1 is limited to the main area of application of a dashcam: to secure recordings for possible evidence. To make the evidence even more comprehensive, a GPS antenna can be connected for around 20 euros. This means that speed and position can also be recorded in the video. “Security” rating: 7/10 points
