Deezer is now offering a new function that allows users of the music streaming service to have the lyrics of the songs translated into their language. A practical function when the listener wants to learn a language or simply wants to understand what is actually being sung. According to Deezer, it is the first audio streaming service to offer such a function.

With a click on the microphone icon, the lyrics are displayed in English. A click on the “With translation” button then displays the corresponding German translation under each English line of text.
At launch, the translation feature is available for 10,000 of the most popular songs. Like here in the song “abcdefu” by Gayle or “Remedy” by Leony. Here you will find a playlist of songs that also have translated lyrics. The feature is available on all platforms where Deezer is available (desktop app, web app, iOS and Android). Over time there should be a translation function for even more songs.
Deezer can be used free of charge after registration. With Deezer Premium, ad-free access to all songs in higher quality is available from EUR 10.99 per month (first 3 months free). With a one-year commitment, the price drops to 8.24 euros per month and students receive a discount of 50 percent.
