Deutsche Telekom becomes a partner for the Nothing Phone

As Nothing announced in a blog post, Deutsche Telekom will sell the “phone (1)” in this country.

Manufacturer Nothing, co-founded by former OnePlus founder Carl Pei, plans to launch its first smartphone soon: the “phone (1)”. Deutsche Telekom was brought on board as a sales partner in Germany. Nothing announced this in a blog post.

Deutsche Telekom and other partners in Europe are said to be “helping to advance Nothing’s global expansion plans” and “bringing a step closer” to launching the “phone (1)” in the summer. In Great Britain, O2 UK will be the official partner, in India Flipkart will sell the smartphone. Deutsche Telekom will be the exclusive network provider for the Nothing smartphone in this country.
“The innovative and differentiated design of the phone (1) prototype convinced us to work together”,
says Torsten Brodt, Head of Consumer Segment Management, Telekom Germany.
“Once again we are offering an extraordinary smartphone exclusively for our customers in the best network in Germany.”

So far it is only known that Nothing’s first smartphone will be based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon SoC and will receive a Nothing OS based on Android. Further information on “phone (1)” is still missing. The company would also like to announce prices and an exact date for the market launch at a later date.
