Luca Guadagnino is going to make a new film, for which he will work again with Timothée Chalamet. The two have previously worked together on the acclaimed film Call Me By Your Name. The new movie is based on the novel Bones & All by Camille DeAngelis about “a girl who searches for her father to understand why she wants to kill and eat the people she loves”.
Call Me By Your Name was the film that put Timothée Chalamet on the world map in 2017. The film was directed by Luca Guadagnino and the Italian director is now working again with the 25-year-old actor on a special project.
Bones & All
Luca Guadagnino has once again served on the talent of Timothée Chalamet. For the new movie Bones & All, which is described as a romantic coming-of-age horror film, Chalamet will be seen again in one of the lead roles. 26-year-old actress Taylor Russell would be tipped for the lead role as Maren Yearly.
The film is based on Camille DeAngelis’ novel of the same name. Maren Yearly is followed in it. A girl who travels the country in search of her father. She wants to find him because she wants to understand why she is struggling with strange feelings. Maren, for example, has the irresistible urge to kill and eat the people who love to see her.
The project does not yet have a distributor for the time being, but the makers hope to be able to start production in April or May of this year.
The news is of course a bit inconvenient as Timothée’s opponent in Chalamet Call Me By Your Name, Armie Hammer, is currently under attack by private messages he allegedly sent. In it Hammer would say, among other things, that he is a cannibal and wants to eat body parts of his sex partners.
Due to the commotion surrounding the private messages, Armie Hammer has already left two film projects.
