DIY: Making your own cleaning products is easier than you think

Excelling with your own excellence
The holiday season is over. The New Year (Happy New Year!) Has started. And then, it starts to itch for many to go through the house with a breath of fresh air. This year you can approach it differently and with your own cleaning products. Recipes to Remember:
1: All-purpose cleaner
All-purpose cleaner is very easy to make yourself with 750ml of boiling water and household soap. For example, you can think of Marseille, Sunlight or green soap. Grate about 20 grams of the household soap and mix it with the boiled water. Once the mixture is mixed, it can be placed in a cleaning bottle or empty plant sprayer. Let it cool for several hours before you start scrubbing.
If you don’t have household soap at home now, you can also mix 1 teaspoon of dish soap with 500 ml of water.
2: Anti-scale
Another commonly used cleaning agent that is a breeze to make yourself. Fill 75% of an empty spray bottle with vinegar and dilute it with water. For a nice scent you can possibly add a few drops of essential oil (available at organic stores). Don’t be too generous with the latter. You will find the maximum amount on the packaging.
3: Glass cleaner
The power of simplicity. Something that certainly applies to this do-it-yourself glass cleaner. It’s very simple: fill a bucket with warm water and add a small drop of cleaning agent. Streak-free result guaranteed!
4: Detergent for white laundry
Put 1 liter of water on the fire. Once it boils, add 20 grams of baking soda. Stir well until dissolved. Then pour it into a (weck) jar where the detergent can be stored. Let it cool for about 24 hours in the refrigerator or put it outside at low temperatures. Two tablespoons per wash are enough.
Do you have a taste for it and do you also want to make detergent for the colored laundry? Then follow the same steps as described above, only replace the baking soda with 50 grams of household soap. Once the soap has dissolved in the water, stir well and pour into a large jar. Again, it is necessary to let it cool down for 24 hours before it can be used.
5: Natural stain remover
Yes, you can easily make your own powerful stain remover yourself. How do you do that? Mix two tablespoons of baking soda with a few drops of water in a container. Stir until a whitish paste forms. As soon as you see a stain, let the stain remover sit for a few minutes. Then it can be put in the wash. You will see that there is no stain left after a short wash.
And are there stains on the floor? Then you can make your own floor cleaner. Again with baking soda. Put half a cup of baking soda in a bucket of cold water. You can use this to mop the floor. Then you rinse the floor with clean water. Please note that this household trick does not apply to wooden floors.
