Certified Lover Boy
Drake has still not announced that date. But during an interview on OVO Sound Radio, a radio show of his own record label OVO Sound, the Canadian gave an update on the release of ‘Certified Lover Boy’.
According to Drake, the album is currently “being worked on in every possible way”. As usual, these (post-production) works are performed by Drake himself, in collaboration with Noel Cadastre and Noah ’40’ Shebib.
“I don’t have an exact date yet,” said Drake. “But it is in the pot and it’s coming! ” Of course, the rapper does not just come up with an update. His statements are more in response to a live stream of YouTuber DJ Akademiks.
Who claimed Drake had personally given him an update on ‘Certified Lover Boy‘. “Drake has told me the album will be out before April,” it said at the end of February. “He certainly won’t wait until the summer to release his album into the world.”
‘Scary Hours 2’
Drake also thinks about his fans. He made that clear again by releasing ‘Scary Hours 2’ out of nowhere. The EP has three new songs, which should make waiting for ‘Certified Lover Boy’ a bit more bearable. Two of the three songs are collaborations.
So is on Wants and Needs also hear Lil Baby. The number Lemon Pepper Freestyle is in collaboration with Rick Ross. The third song on the EP, What’s Next, there is one of Drake alone.
