DS 7 Crossback: Lease a noble SUV at a low price

French President Emmanuel Macron drives DS 7 Crossback. Admittedly, an armored variant of the 4.57 meter long noble SUV, but if you want to do the same, you now have the opportunity to do so – and at a low price. The DS 7 Crossback has been on the market since 2017, but in this country it is still extremely exotic. The platform brother of the Opel Grandland and the Peugeot 3008 not only offers luxurious features, but also plenty of space and a wide range of engines. The DS 7 Crossback is available from a small diesel to a petrol engine to two different plug-in hybrids. It starts at 38,390 euros for the 130 hp diesel. But commercial customers can currently lease the DS 7 on favorable terms!
At (cooperation partner of AUTO BILD), the plug-in hybrid DS 7 Crossback E-Tense 225 is currently available in commercial leasing for a very reasonable 129 euros net per month, which corresponds to a top leasing factor of 0.32. As with most plug-in hybrid leasing deals, there is a one-time special payment of 4,500 euros. This amount will be refunded after correct and timely application for the environmental bonus to the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA). But be careful, because the full refund only applies to vehicles that will be delivered and registered in 2022. (maintenance costs calculate? To the car insurance comparison!)

It’s a good thing that the contractual partner for the DS 7 guarantees delivery in the 2022 calendar year, so that the customers do not bear any additional risk. The contract period is set at 24 months. Longer terms can be requested if required. What is not so good is that the 5000 free kilometers per year are only suitable for a few city trips. Frequent drivers should definitely book larger kilometer packages, which, however, drives up the monthly rate. With 10,000 kilometers per year, the DS 7 costs 189 euros net, with 20,000 kilometers per year it is 239 euros net.

Two years DS 7 drive for 4000 euros net

In addition, there is a one-time fee of 915.97 euros net (1090 euros gross) for the transfer, resulting in total leasing costs of 4011.97 euros net (129 euros times 24 plus 915.97 euros) for two years in the best case. In return, customers get an extraordinary SUV with 225 hp and an electric range of up to 62 kilometers. In the AUTO BILD test, the DS 7, as a 300 hp plug-in hybrid, was convincing despite its small quirks: “As a plug-in hybrid with 300 hp and all-wheel drive, the DS 7 isn’t cheap – but it’s so refreshingly different. Comfort meets playful interior – you can like that.”
As an E-Tense 225 in the “Bastille+” equipment line, the DS 7 costs at least 48,330 euros. A lot of money, but there are also many features on board. A small excerpt: parking aid including reversing camera, heated seats, xenon headlights, digital instrument cluster, navigation system, two-zone automatic climate control, 19-inch rims and more. As this is a time-limited offer, you have to be quick. According to, the offer may no longer be available at short notice due to high demand.
