The basis for the special price is the conclusion of a contract with Vattenfall for the “Natur24 Strom Wallbox” tariff (100 percent TÜV-certified green electricity) with a term of 24 months. The individual price varies depending on where you live and consumption. On request, Tchibo customers can also receive the Vattenfall charging app and card, which they can use to draw electricity at 90,000 charging points in Europe at a fixed price of 45 cents/kWh for AC charging and 59 cents/kWh for fast charging.

Charging packages with two different wall boxes

Vattenfall has been offering sockets for e-cars in two affordable packages for a long time. The cheaper of the two available wall boxes is called Charge Amps Halo (from 299 euros). An integrated light strip makes them visible in the dark and also indicates the charge level.

According to the manufacturer, the highest protection class IP66 currently available on the market ensures that the Charge Amps Halo not only withstands rain, but also withstands all northern European weather conditions. If access to the wallbox is to be protected, this can be controlled via RFID technology.
