Netflix is facing a drop in subscribers for the first time in a decade. The streaming giant lost around 200,000 subscribers, the company announced. The share of the streaming service then fell by a full 25 percent. That’s not all, because now the streaming company is receiving further criticism from prominent sources – from Tesla boss Elon Musk via Twitter.
The woke mind virus is making Netflix unwatchable

Musk: “Wokeness is one of the greatest threats to civilization.”
“The ‘Woke Mind Virus’ makes Netflix unwatchable,” Musk wrote just a few hours after the negative news about Netflix. Musk is alluding to the fact that Netflix is trying to diversify its programming. “Wokeness” means alertness to discrimination, grievances and sensitivity towards minorities – an increase in political correctness.
In his opinion, the Wokeness movement wants a humorless society full of judgment and hate: Wokeness is divisive, exclusionary, hateful and gives mean people a shield to be cruel. He even feels: “Wokeness is one of the greatest threats to civilization,” as he said in an interview last year.
What Musk wants to see on Netflix instead
What the Tesla CEO would like to see most on the streaming platform, he also gave the best. Instead of the current program, Elon Musk primarily prefers science fiction and fantasy content.
Can they please just make sci-fi/fantasy at least *mostly* about sci-fi/fantasy?
