The Porsche 911 Carrera 4 is being offered on the auction platform auctomobile.com. In addition to the enormous mileage of almost 370,000 kilometers, what is special about this 993 from the Year of construction 1996 the equipment. The PTS special color is extremely rare and is originally from legendary Audi RS 2 known. Allegedly only two 993s in “Ragusa green” were delivered 286 hp strong Carrera 4 on rims of the 996 GT3 MKI, which were already available as special equipment on the 993. Important for Porsche fans: the 911 is a Hand switch and does not have the unpopular four-speed Tiptronic.

The 993 is the last air-cooled 911

The 993 model series was introduced at the end of 1993 and inherited the 964. For many enthusiasts, the 993 is the last real 911, which is also reflected in the prices of used cars. One of the reasons for this is that the Successor 996 was anything but popular for a long time and has only found a loyal following in recent years, but also because the 993 the last air-cooled 911 is. The 993, designed by the British Tony Hatter, was even slightly cheaper than its predecessor when it launched, the 964. In 1998, the last air-cooled Porsche was handed over to the comedian and Porsche collector Jerry Seinfeld.

The question of the price remains and there is a little surprise, because the accident-free 993 Carrera 4 was only in May 2021 over auctomobile.com for 67,000 euros sold to the current fourth owner in the Czech Republic. Just six months later, the 993 is up for sale again with almost 370,000 kilometers on the clock, the reasons for this are not known. The auction ends on December 23, 2021, so someone may still be able to secure a last-minute Christmas present. the Estimate is optimistic with 75,000 to 90,000 euros specified.
