VVV Venlo and PEC Zwolle both got one point from their mutual match. Jafar Arias gave the home team the lead, but Imanuel Pherai and Mike van Duinen turned the tables. In the final phase Georgios Giakoumakis showed his class by making the 2-2 by means of a seesaw.

FC Twente down

The tenth round of play was started on Friday evening by FC Twente and RKC Waalwijk. The Brabanders surprisingly won 0-2 in the Grolsch Veste.

Two assists from Ola John on Cyril Ngonge and Finn Stokkers ensured that that position was already reached at half time. Ron Jans’ team, who kept PSV 1-1 on Sunday so cleverly, was unable to repair the damage after the break.
