Ferrari Purosangue (2022): First check in the new Ferrari SUV

The Purosangue is basically an 812 on stilts
Large air intakes indicate what is hidden under the hood – a martial, freely aspirating twelve-cylinder. And the same applies here: if anyone can afford it, then Ferrari. 724 hp, 3.3 seconds to 100 and just over ten to 200. The top speed is 312 km/h. This car is basically a 812 on stilts – with many advantages: four seats, reasonable luggage space, easy entry.

A good three meter wheelbase, a long bonnet and mixed tires with 22 inches at the front and 23 inches at the rear. This SUV is extremely wiry.
6.5 liter naturally aspirated V12 engine and eight-speed double clutch

Highlight for the passengers: The rear doors open fully electrically in the opposite direction and close from the inside at the touch of a button.
In this country one would say roll compensation. The eighth generation “Side Slip Angle Control” keeps the unstable driving condition stable, depending on the skill and taste of the pilot. The Purosangue’s footwear consists of 22-inch wheels on the front axle and 23-inch wheels on the rear axle.

Four-light graphics rethought, a subtle spoiler lip, but a powerful diffuser for the aero adorns the rear.
The almost perfect weight distribution of 49:51 percent between the front and rear axles also contributes to the limit range being as manageable as possible. Even if that Purosangue itself is not a lightweight at 2173 kilograms dry, although the roof is made entirely of carbon. The chassis is about five percent lighter than the GTC4Lusso – and that with around 30 percent more torsional rigidity.

But the highlight slumbers behind the front axle: the 6.5-liter V12 with a 65-degree bank angle and dry sump lubrication. The red area begins at 8250 rpm, 2000 tours earlier the full 716 Newton meters are already available. The eight-speed double clutch sits in a transaxle design on the rear axle and shifts into the next gear in 200 milliseconds.
Predominantly recycled materials in the interior
In the completely redesigned cockpit, gears are shifted using rigid shift paddles on the steering column, and the front passenger gets all the information he wants on a 10.2-inch display – Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also included. The materials in the interior consist largely of recycled materials.

All new cockpit design for Ferrari. Due to the division not entirely focused on the driver.
Access to the always two-seater rear is spectacular via fully electric, rear-hinged doors. The trunk swallows 473 liters – and is even variable. The backrests of the rear seats can be folded flat electrically – you could have done that yourself enzo said “molto bene”.
