The notoriously buggy game Cyberpunk 2077 has received its first major patch. Developer CD Projekt announced the release of version 1.1 in a tweet on Friday. Accordingly, the update should lay the foundation for future patches and improvements.
“We will continue our work with Patch 1.2 and other upcoming updates. At the same time, we will continue to fix the bugs you encounter and listen to feedback on how we can improve the overall gaming experience, ”explains the developer in the release notes
There is also a detailed list with the changes and bug fixes. Accordingly, numerous stability improvements have been made and incorrect parts of the game world and quests have been fixed. The update was released for consoles, PCs and Google’s streaming service Stadia.
The start of the game was anything but smooth. Players complained of numerous bugs and errors that made the game sometimes unplayable. That also led to Sony tossing the game off the official PlayStation Store. It has not returned to this day.
Even before the release of version 1.1. there were several minor bugfixes for the worst problems and crashes.
