After Rowena Chiu, Harvey Weinstein’s former assistant, previously clapped out of the school in the documentary ‘Harvey Weinstein: ID Breaking Now’, she’s making herself heard again now. Rowena says she is no longer afraid of the consequences if she starts talking to the press, despite the fact that she has signed a statement saying that she will never, ever, ever reveal anything about her old employer. This reports Variety.
“I am not interested that I may now do something that is not officially allowed”
Rowena wants her old boss’s sexually intolerable acts to be publicly known. “I’m not interested that I might be doing something that is not officially allowed now. Because even though I run the risk of being sued by him, I suspect he has more important things on his mind now that he’s stuck,” said Rowena.
Weinstein trial in Los Angeles postponed for the time being
The woman worked for Miramax UK in the UK and is said to have been molested by the once-celebrated Hollywood producer. “He flung me on the bed and tore my panties down, when I absolutely didn’t want to.”
Submitted charges against Harvey Weinstein again
Rowena is angry not only with Weinstein, but also with the people who operated around him. “They are just as guilty. Everyone knew about this, but everyone also made sure that this man could go ahead. His disgusting behavior has been perpetuated by the surrounding system.”
No more corona quarantine for Harvey Weinstein
Rowena was relieved when Weinstein was sentenced to 23 years in prison. “That was justice for all the women he did something to. He destroyed so many lives.”
