FDrivers, teams, organizers and fans are looking forward to the six final races of the ABB FIA Formula E in Berlin (August 5-13). But now there is a sad news to report: When setting up the route at the decommissioned Tempelhof Airport, an accident resulted in death.
A fatal accident occurred during the construction work
The death of the construction worker has now been confirmed. It is unclear how it could have happened. According to reports from “rbb24”, a forklift was involved, which transported concrete elements for the construction of the route.
The Berlin races will be broadcast live on Eurosport at 7 p.m. The leader of the standings is DS Techeetah driver Antonio Felix da Costa. Four German drivers are at the start: Maximilian Günther (BMW-Andretti), André Lotterer (Porsche), Daniel Abt (Nio333-Dragon) and René Rast (Audi Sport Abt Schaeffler).
