Epic Games started a new season in the battle royale title “Fortnite” this week. Chapter 3 Season 2 brings some changes to the game. Build mode has been disabled in both arena and normal game modes. The Imagined Order is to blame for this. The
declarations
according to the “construction stop” should only be active within the first nine days after the start of the new season. This has to do with a quest line that is important for the start of chapter three. Players will probably be able to set up covers again from the beginning of April.
Additional sign and parkour feeling
To compensate for the lack of build mode in the game, Epic Games is now giving players an additional shield called “Overshield”. Higher climbing and sprinting speeds also provide a parkour feeling. Also new are tanks and additional weapons.
Battle Pass with Doctor Strange
With the new season comes a new Battle Pass in “Fortnite”. Here, players can unlock a range of new characters, including Marvel’s Doctor Strange. He is supported by The Imagined and The Origin, among others. With the start of the new season, Epic Games is also donating all Fortnite proceeds to Ukraine for 14 days.
