This is how you get an Amazon order without shipping costs. Even if you are not a Prime member.

Amazon: Free shipping without Prime – that’s how it works

If you order from Amazon, you can save on shipping costs in different ways.

Book shipments are free of charge (except for certain books that are offered as “used”).

There is the option of free standard delivery from a minimum order value of 29 euros. Such products are marked with the addition “Free Shipping” next to the price.

Amazon Prime customers usually also get their orders free of charge (unless a bookseller expressly does not offer free Prime shipping, for example). Here you can try out the Amazon Prime membership for free.
Delivery to the pick-up station
But there is another way that Amazon delivers without shipping costs. Even if the minimum order value is less than 29 euros or it is not a book delivery: Don’t have your order delivered to your home, but to a pick-up station near you.
Amazon writes the following about this: “Standard shipping to a pick-up station is now free of charge. Please check at checkout to ensure that your order qualifies for this shipping option. Delivery to a pick-up station is subject to capacity and availability restrictions. This offer applies to all customers and qualified items that are shipped by Amazon with the exception of orders placed via Amazon Pantry, Amazon Prime Now and Amazon Fresh. ”
So that you can use this option for free delivery, proceed as follows:

Add one or more eligible items to your shopping cart.

Select a pick-up station as the shipping address (pick-up stations in shops, packing stations and post offices)

Select the delivery option “FREE Standard Shipping” and complete your purchase by clicking on “Buy Now”.
In addition to Amazon Locker, pick-up stations also include DHL Packstations, Hermes Parcel Shops, Post branches or Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof branches. Here is the full list of options:

You can have your Amazon parcel delivered to these pick-up stations free of charge.
Amazon advises: “Delivery to a collection point is subject to capacity and availability restrictions and the standard shipping option may not be available. In this case, please choose a different pick-up station near you. ”
