Samsung Galaxy A51 gets Android 12 with update
The somewhat older but very popular Samsung Galaxy A51 is now receiving a firmware update and thus Android 12. Samsung has started delivering the update, as reported by Sammobile. Initially only for the 5G variant of the device and only in Vietnam, Russia and the United Arab Emirates. But it shouldn’t be long before the update is available for all models and in more regions.
The Galaxy A51, which was released in 2020, now also has Android 12 with the new One UI 4.1. So far, Samsung has made One UI 4.1 available for more recent Galaxy devices such as the Galaxy S22 (all the details here). In addition to new functions and many improvements, the owners of the Galaxy A51 can also look forward to a revised interface with more personalization options.
In the test, the Galaxy A51 scored with its quad camera at a comparatively low price. The Galaxy A51 is only available in stores in remaining stocks. Here it is more worthwhile to go to the successor Galaxy A52 (
) or the Galaxy A53, which will be available from April 1, 2022. You can find out more about this in our article:
