Game of Thrones video game developer poisoned and died

The Chinese millionaire and the developer of the video game Game of Thrones: Winter is Coming is deceased. The 39-year-old man was poisoned by a colleague, according to Shanghai police. He became in steady state taken to hospital. A day later he died there.

The makers of Game of Thrones, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, knew the game too. Then they contacted the Chinese. They collaborated on the film adaptation of the popular Chinese sci-fi novel The Three Body Problem for Netflix.

Lin Qi had already started that project with his own studio Yoozoo Pictures, but it was never completed. Netflix then bought the rights to the book and appointed Benioff and Weiss to turn it into a series.
