However, this year’s Gamescom is overshadowed by the cancellations of the industry giants Electronic Arts, Nintendo, Sony and Activision Blizzard. Nevertheless, the more than 500 registered companies who want to present their latest products at Gamescom 2022 have now been presented. This means that Gamescom will continue to be the world’s largest games fair.
From 2K Games to TikTok
For example, the developers and publishers 2K Games, 505 Games, astragon Entertainment, Bandai Namco, Deadalic Entertainment, Humble Games, Kalypso Media Group, Koch Media, Neowiz, Pico Interactive, Sega Europe, Team 17, THQ Nordic, Ubisoft and Warner have confirmed Bros. Games. These groups are backed by other gaming and technology companies such as Amazon Web Services, AMD, BenQ, ESL Gaming, HyperX, Medion, Razer, Samsung, SteelSeries, TikTok, Western Digital, Xbox and Xsolla.

Corona as a reason for cancellation?
