Genesis brings the G70 station wagon for Europe

Good news for Genesis fans: After Hyundai’s luxury brand announced just a few days ago, to take off in Europe from summer 2021, show the Koreans now new modelwhich could only be offered in Europe. This is the Combined version of the G70!

So far, Genesis models have only been available via the importer in Europe, but that will change from summer 2021. At the market launch, the Koreans will be offering the Luxury models G80 and GV80 at. A short time later, the smaller ones should Models G70 and GV70 consequences. The G70 is a mid-range sedan that competes with the BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and Mercedes C-Class. It wasn’t until the end of 2020 that Genesis gave the G70 an extensive facelift, in which the design was adapted to the new brand face and the interior was modernized. But that was apparently not all! Now Genesis is showing the first official photos of a new model that is clearly one G70 station wagon acts. Despite the camouflage she is Combined silhouette clearly visible and a look at the front part reveals that this is not the much larger G80. This fits in with the fact that Genesis announced a model for the end of 2021 when it announced its European launch that will only be available in Europe.

Which engines does the G70 station wagon get?

Not much can be seen in the Erlkƶnig pictures. The rear slopes down relatively sharply, plus there are tailpipes embedded in the rear apron and a discreet roof edge spoiler. Genesis may become the A4 Avant and 3 Series Touring competitor Shooting Brake call, but that’s just speculation. Also with regard to the Motors there is still no official information. The G70 offers two-liter petrol engines of different strengths, as well as a 2.2-liter diesel and a 3.3-liter V6 with 370 hp. Which drives will ultimately come to Europe and whether Genesis will also offer a plug-in hybrid is still open.
