If you want to make your computer an eye-catcher, you can long fall back on cases with large windows, colorful LED strips and unusual surfaces. The Chinese manufacturer Geometric Future wants to bring even more color into the world of midi towers with its “Model 8” series. The interestingly designed cases are available from online retailer Amazon at prices starting at 179 euros. However, no delivery dates have been set yet.
Plenty of space for drives and fans
For the considerable price, buyers get a midi tower made of steel and glass. CPU coolers can be a maximum of 170 mm long. The graphics card can be up to 40 centimeters long. The power supply unit can be a maximum of 22 centimeters and is hidden behind a cover on the front. A dust filter on the top should protect the inside of the computer from dirt. Fans can be attached to three sides of the case at the same time. If you want, you can use water cooling, the radiator of which can be a maximum of 42 centimeters in size. The motherboard can be ATX, Mini-ATX, Micro-ATX or E-ATX standards. Six SSDs or hard drives can be accommodated in the computer.
Fabric, leather and aluminum
The Model 8 series is a real eye-catcher thanks to the different materials and color schemes. For example, the Cowboy version is made of cowhide, while the Bohemia version has a front with colorful fabric. On the other hand, if you choose the Dharma model, you will receive a housing with an aluminum front. The more simply designed Lohan model will cost 179 euros, while the Cowboy and Dharma models will be offered for 199 euros.
