“In Nordic mythology, Valhalla is the final resting place for glorious fallen warriors,” GfK Entertainment reported when the current German sales charts were announced. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has by no means fallen, but is glorious.
The Ubisoft hit naturally made it to number 1 on the physical PS4 and Xbox One charts in Germany. And by the way, “Valhalla” also ensures the second strongest sales week of the current year. The best-selling week of the year is (and will probably remain) the week in October when FIFA 21 was launched. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla prevailed against Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The new Activision shooter lands in second place.
It gets a little more colorful with the amusement park simulation Planet Coaster (sixth place on PS4) and the Day Ichi Edition of Yakuza 7: Like a Dragon. The latter ranks seventh in the PS4 charts and fifth in the Xbox One charts.
The Alpine Agriculture Add-on and the Premium Edition of Farming Simulator 19 landed first in the PC trade charts. In the Switch Charts, however, everything stays the same with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (first place) and Animal Crossing: New Horizons (second place).
