Last week, Cyberpunk 2077 had to take its hat and break first place on the PS4 and Xbox One charts. Before that, the controversial CD Projekt RED title had been at the top for four weeks and had sold over 500,000 copies in December in Germany alone.
The comeback is at least partially successful in the current German retail sales week. Cyberpunk 2077 can take the lead again on Xbox One, followed by last week’s winner Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
On PlayStation 4, FIFA 21 reminds us that it was the best-selling title in Europe last year. Behind it, the Grand Theft Auto V Premium Edition crosses the finish line. Everything stays the same on Nintendo Switch with Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
And the “next-gen”, which is now “current-gen”? Exciting is different too. On PlayStation 5, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales remains on top ahead of Call of Duty: Black – Ops Cold War. On Xbox Series nothing changes compared to the previous week: Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War before Immortal Fenyx Rising.
